About Our Work

We help organizations adapt to the rapidly changing landscape of digital communication

How We Started

Harbor-wren emerged from a simple observation. In 2019, most organizations had predictable communication patterns. Then everything changed. Not just because of remote work, but because the entire digital communication ecosystem shifted.

What started as consulting for a handful of tech companies grew into something more substantial. We realized that the challenges weren't technical. They were structural, cultural, and strategic.

Our Philosophy

Context Over Templates

Every organization has unique communication needs. We don't believe in universal solutions. Our approach starts with understanding your specific context, team dynamics, and operational requirements before recommending any changes.

Behavior Before Technology

Most communication problems aren't solved by new tools. They're solved by changing how people interact, share information, and make decisions. Technology should support these behaviors, not dictate them.

Evolution Over Revolution

Dramatic overhauls rarely work. We design incremental changes that compound over time. Small shifts in communication patterns, consistently applied, create significant transformation.

How We Work

01

Deep Analysis

We spend time understanding your current state. This includes analyzing communication flows, interviewing team members, and identifying pain points that might not be immediately obvious.

02

Strategy Design

Based on what we learn, we create a custom strategy. This isn't a generic framework. It's a specific roadmap designed for your organization's structure, culture, and goals.

03

Implementation Support

We don't just hand over a document. We work alongside your team during implementation, adjusting the approach as needed and ensuring the changes actually stick.

Our Team

We're a small group of communication strategists, organizational psychologists, and former operations leaders. Each of us has spent years working inside organizations, dealing with the same communication challenges our clients face.
